NOT

Boolean operator, used to exclude keywords from a search.

When you include NOT in your search term, the search engine will look for documents that do NOT contain the keyword in question.
For example, when you type Linux NOT Red Hat, the search engine will return documents that contain the word Linux, but not Red Hat.
